intreXis Boardnet Converter Platform

The intreXis Boardnet Converter Platform is a new definition of high-performance DC-DC Converters in the power range from 50 to 500 W. With its ultra-wide input voltage range of 14.4 VDC to 154 VDC and up to 96 % efficiency, the new intreXis Converter generation sets a new benchmark for DC-DC Converters designed for railway applications.

Limits redefined: This is what the intreXis engineers demonstrate impressively. The ultra-wide input voltage range allows the use of these DC-DC Converters in railway applications with all nominal input voltages (24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 72 V, 110 V) without changing the configuration. The full output power is available throughout the widest and extended temperature range class OT4 + ST1,ST2 from -50°C to 85°C according to EN50155, without derating and without fan.

This is made possible by the outstanding efficiency of 96.2% at 110 V input operation and 92.5% at 24 V input operation*. With the galvanic isolation of 3000 VAC, the active inrush current limiter, the hold-up time of 10m/s and the extremely low weight of only 1.3 kg for the 500 W unit, the new Converters of the intreXis Boardnet Converter Platform are well equipped for the most demanding railway applications.

A broad range of converters with different output power (50, 75, 150, 300 and 500 W) and different output voltages (5, 12, 15, 24, 48, 52 VDC) assures the optimal solution for most applications. In addition to the units with single output, dual output units with ±24 VDC and ±15 VDC are available. The dual output units are well suited to power current sensors and other loads which require a bipolar power source. All units of the intreXis Boardnet Converter Platform are equipped with all necessary filters and 100% compliant to EN50155 without any additional external components!
